Bright Eye Girl

I think if your going to start the month of well then finishing a painting is a good way to do it.  This is my wide eyed girl. Let me tell you her story. She was wondering around this world and things looks fuzzy. The colors where not as bright as they could be and she just could not find her way.  One day she found these huge glasses and even though a small part of her did not want to put them on she did anyway. Then BAM> She could see .So she stood there looking of into the distance. Taking it all in.  the  color the bright sun. Suddenly she noticed there was an owl perching on her arm.  

Oh what a good day today turned out to be for my bright eye girl.

Aloha Girl

It was just baby Jack and I this week so while he napped I painted. I had a good week and painting helped me just relax and rest. I find I have a difficult time resting or just being still . I really wanted to write about how much I am enjoying this art class The  Expressions E course . I had a difficult time in school . I did fine but learning was difficult for me. I think I know why, I am a visual learner. The best  thing about these courses is you can watch the videos as much as you want and you have these sweet teachers talking there way through there process. I love it. Its always nice when you find something that works for you .

I hope you like her as much as I do. She will be in my shop this weekend.

Two of us

I finished. I like it . What do you think ? Want to know what I see here. Its about forgiveness. I had a situation once with a girlfriend that taught me a-lot about myself and the lack of boundaries I had. Since then we have made up and most importantly I learned about how much I really needed to make boundaries in life. I learned what behaviors where OK on my part and what I was not OK with. I learned that saying no is OK. That my time is really important and that picking who I spend it with is huge. My kids and family come first then there is a little bit left for friends. I wish I had more but the great thing about life is that I hope in couple years when my kids need me less there will be time for all that other stuff. Back to my mixed media painting. Its about two friend and its about forgiveness.  I am having fun practicing what I love and in itsy bits steps improving.  Have a wonderful Day and she will be in my easy shop tonight.
