Moving Time

I am moving in less than a 48 hours..Crazy hu.. A baby and now a move. I am really excited about the house the best part is it has one bed room for each of my kids. I always wanted a house that fit all of us. Last night after baby J went to sleep I went down stairs and just felt like writing and drawing ...I drew, I wrote and I cried. Its so crazy to me that 3 years ago I was so scattered. I got divorced (horrible experience ) I was not sure where I would live and I was looking for a job for the first time in 10 years. A full time job. I felt broken. As I was sitting on my dinning room table last night I realized how lucky I have been because everything worked out.

I have learned a-lot in the last 3 years. The biggest thing is Money does not make you happy doing things with people you love makes you happy. Learning the people around me and making time to love them. I love my sisters and brothers more than ever. My mom and dad totally helped us out when  it came time to buy our house. How do thank someone for that kind of help ?? Maybe just tell them you love them everyday and lots of phone calls and text.. My heart is feeling incredibly grateful and its funny how things just worked out..seriously thanking the man upstairs for all the blessings in my life...

52 weeks of Art Journaling

I signed for my first on line journal class for 2012
I chose Elsie's and Rachael's
52 weeks of journaling session.
I like the classes Elsie offers there fun and they have lots of color but there also simple and very doable. I like having a little nudge of creativity to fallow.

This is my first page. I am actually right on track . I hope to share the fun pages with you. Well  I am in bed today because i am sick. I rarely get sick but my sweet isabella gave me her cold. I hope you have a great weekend and be safe.
xoxo

A week of journaling...done

This week I challenged myself to journal for a week. I did it ( yeah me ) and I am glad I did. I think its very therapeutic to not think and just write and draw and water paint. Water paints are fun because you can really relax and get in touch with that kid inside of you that just wants to paint.

its fun to see pretty things show up on you paper.

My favorite saying  that I heard in my head was do not be afraid for I am with you always.

Does that ever happen to you ? Your writing in your journal and there it is ...That message you needed to hear ? I really try to clear my mind and listen to for it..Once in a while I hear it..
OK so I love journals
I love pens
I love pencils
I love watercolors
I love letting go AND just creating
WHATEVER.
ITS
FUN
XOXO

My New but not so new art journal...

I started an art journal a while ago but I really didn't...You understand...I finally re- started that art Journal and I will have it for a while...I did my cover with this months kit from the Pink Ninja addicts..OK its really important to take a picture of your self in the reflection on a store window...why? well ins a great way to look at yourself and to see ...This is why I love to do that..besides the fact that I love taking pictures I like stopping and taking that picture and looking at it to be able to say to myself...OK were are you?right now...were are going? I even go as far as saying hi to myself and OK this might sound a bit crazy but it make it easier for me to talk to myself ...and see myself just as I am ...I don't know but I thought what a better picture for an art journal....I had cut my hair this day so I was letting go of stuff...lots of fun...
so this months kit has an entire little bag full of calendar month circle things...see may...I try to be as personal as possible I don't hold back at all...I feel in this little book ...its easy and a fun way to get a quick art fix for sure....I am finding my color pencils because this book needs that for sure....Have a great Tuesday...we had Cinnamon rolls for breakfast and my house smells yummy right now....
