On this lovely Saturday

On this lovely Saturday.....We made it a point to get together to work on our summer journal...(Carrie and I)
with the use of my wonderful birthday gift (love it) we were able to have instant satisfaction..
The Summer log is made and ready to collect our sweet summer memories...I am planning in my head..Maybe a small road trip and lots of time running and biking...picnics and bbq's with my little people..oh and a little sewing for Bella....I cant wait to log it all in here..

Learning New Things....

My friend Carrie and I had a creation play date with Jane...She is a wonderful woman that Carrie and I have great admiration for...(her ART rocks) .Today we tried cross stitching ..I have not really ventured into this world before...but with Elsie and her summer camp being our driving forceand not to mention Jane is a pro .....We got our needles ready and went for it....Carrie took some great pictures too...Go here to check hers out... Jane made the cutest little bicycle with the perfect yellow I love you...
I made the red I love you that took me a very long time and a-lot of patience because I am a little active for this Art form...but I love the practice of trying to be still....
and then sweet Carrie made the oh so cutest little camper with the xoxo....The time we spent together was perfect...Tomorrow afternoon I think we will be working on our art journal ....Happy Saturday

My mom the superhero

This is my little boy that does not let me take his picture anymore...I wanted to share this mad libs that turned into a mothers day card to me....I think its perfect coming from my 9 year old boy...

Dear Mom,

If you were a superhero, like wonder pizza you would have a -lot of fat powers..Like dumpsters in the back of your head.. Then you would be able to see everything that my chipmunks do when they think you are not cleaning. And you would be able to do 7 things all at once. You could talk to a chicken while cooking and plan the calendar while talking on the phone. Think of all the things you could do in a day. You could work at Wallmart . Then drive me to gymnastics for practice.Take me out to an evil dinner with your shoes on backwards. Then come and watch me play video games at school Wait.....that's just a typical day for you right....That's so secret!! Thanks for all you do!

I love how sweet and not completely girly it turned out..The embellishments were so cute and so stack able..that's important because we all love to stack green flowers with yellow flowers etc ..My little guy is not really into letting me take his picture anymore so when I get a cute one I scrap it..Have a great Monday....

We have had a really good relationship lately..She has been such a good girl ..Its amazing being 38 with a 15 year old. I have to remind myself often that she needs me to be a mom mare than a friend. Its a fine line. I cant remember not having her in my life ..My fondest moments include her. I am listening more and she is talking more, I actually think the jet black hair she is sporting today looks cute on her..Her music choices are a little crazy but at 15 I believe mine were too..Most of the time not always we are OK together..right now we are flowing . I am her mommy a little bit friend with a dash of fashion consultant and pinch of weird...

At the expo....Thinking, hoping dreaming about going to this race one day....Can she do it? well one day YES..
At the expo... hanging out with my best friend ...if Elvis can do it...check out my dad..He can do it....When we hang out..we are funny we make fun of each other..He takes good care of me..He makes me his daughter..He runs with me and sometimes kicks my butt...He always shows up..It funny because I am not loud but when I hang out with my dad..We are loud and I can tell you we laugh a-lot..I think its so cool we ran a marathon together...
He did so great..He took 20 minutes of his PR. and he went all out..
This is what we are like together....Thanks to you Dad..for being so good to me and being such a good man ... and always calling just to say I am checking on my Princess ...I love you....

Hello Friends...

Okay.. guess what I did it !!! My time 3:58...I had such a great time....This time I was just plain old excited the whole time...setting up all my stuff was fun ..My outfit was fun...Making friends at my running club was fun and I was just so happy to run....
Honestly the new coarse was yucky...They changed it and the second half was hot and sandy and well because its the second half its hard...but I did a-lot of dancing....I love dancing when I run..I had a-lot of great thoughts..I thought about my sister in law and how much I love her for about 5 miles...She is so beautiful inside and out...and she is blessing my family with another girl....funny the stuff we think about hu...I thought about my dad and I and our relationship and how blessed I am to have him...I thought about how the universe works...I never would of been able to predict that I am at this point after this summer....
So hey...I did it and after 7 long ass marathons I finally broke 4 hours...I am so happy ....
There it is my medal......happy Sunday and if you haven't gone on a walk lately ...try it..its amazing how good you will fell after a little exercise......Happy Sunday...

Crazy Excited!!!!

OK..I am on my way out the door...To run a marathon....I am so excited and a little scared but most of all I am just plain old grateful....that I can do this..send me running fairy dust ok...I am so gonna need it...yeah....

Going to get my bib #..

I am getting ready to go to Down town to get my Bib #....for tomorrow..So exciting...I am sure I will get some fun pictures while I am there ...Ill be back later today ...

What I am up too...

Its Friday and I have butterflies in my tummy because its almost race day....Holy Cow....OK well I went to Dick Blick art supply store yesterday to pick some cute art supplies for a special little girl...I love that store..As I was leaving I got hungry and since I was in little Italy I got two slices of pizza and a vitamin water to go....So I could eat it in my Prius...that sounds so cool to me..eating pizza the car ..
Oh and yes...I wore my special shoes yesterday because I felt very grateful so I wanted some magic in my step...(target)
and lastly I finished of my day by going to the Pasta dinner with my peeps..This is Judy my dads sister she is walking the half marathon...Way to go Judy....I am working on getting my whole family into this.....
Life s good and I am excited ...Ill keep you posted..Oh and guess what a part of my house flooded...crazy hu... I called my dad and he is fixing it for me as blog...Love to all

Hi...its countdown time...

Hello peeps...its countdown time to the big day...The Rock n Roll marathon is on SUNDAY.....aaahhhhh!!!!!!I feel really excited and a a little nervous but I am sure that will change..Lots of growing going on over hear..I am feeling much more accepting of the choices I have made ..I am doing some yummy reading ..My friend Cathy gave me the artist way Every day..by Julia Cameron...I recommend it for sure....My kids are doing well..I am in serious love with them...

OK back to Sunday...I would love to run it in 4 hours but I am secretly going for 3:55 ..but dont tell me that OK...My dad is totally excited its all we talk about Race Day...Oh..My outfit..I have to share it..My shirt has blue sky and red flowers and green grass...Hello how cute..I love color and I am wearing my running skirt...same blue..uuhhmmmm

Well have a great day..I will be scrapping tonight with my Pink Ninja Addicts Kit....OK until tomorrow...

Good Morning and Happy last Day of May....It went by pretty fast..I know I put this on here already but its my favorite..Lilly and I at red Robbin decorated with the lovely May kit from the Pink Ninja Addicts..LOVE it...
My kids are home!!!! I am so content at this point I had not seen them in 3 weeks..but now there here with me...We went and bought Christopher his birthday present yesterday..Hes a happy little man...And Isabella and I literally drew for hours and hours...Painted rocks and made paper dolls and OH!!!!!! we made a wishing banner..She learned how to make them in Boulder and taught me.. I am a very lucky mommy...

Sunny Saturday...

Things are looking up here in my world...The sky looks a little brighter and my coffee was a bit yummier than usual this morning... I have high hopes....for a much better tomorrow..I have cleared out my memeory card becasue its time to fill it up again with new and wonderful pictures....
My mom has been keeping me company so I have had lots of fun conversations....dressing up and acting silly...I love to act super wacky with her...
I have been thinking about how much I need my kids back..and guess what they come home today at 8pm....Yes I am so super DE duper Happy.......
My life is good always but sometimes we feel sad but not today..I have so many ideas on how I am going to make super yummy lunches for my little guys...I am going to start going to mass with my little crew...I am going to do secret field trips just like before and I am going to try really hard to be in the moment with them..not worry about tomorrow or think about yesterday just love my kids ,my family, my friends, my self and God....
